Manning Requirements in Africa
Our recent acquisition of the OIL fleet enables us to provide our clients with a more comprehensive and uniquely safe and reliable service throughout West Africa. We have strengthened our presence at shore bases along the coast, and enhanced our technical and logistical support to our fleet. The newly acquired vessels complement our existing fleet, allowing us to provide a range of tonnage unique in the area, thereby relieving our clients from the need to co-ordinate vessels from various sources.
Tidewater Marine Inc. operations in the offshore African continent are comprised of three operating areas and are manned from the personnel and recruiting office located in Aberdeen Scotland. Following are the primary operational bases associated with the three areas and the job opportunities and requirements at these locations:
Nigeria - Operational bases in Lagos, Warri and Port Harcourt with over 45 offshore vessels.
West Africa - Operational bases in Zaire, Ivory Coast, Congo and Cameroon with over 40 offshore vessels.
Angola - Operational bases in Cabinda, Soyo and Luanda with over forty offshore vessels.
