Manning Requirements for U.S. Gulf of Mexico Operations

100/200/500/1600 Ton Masters
U.S.C.G. Licensed Merchant Mariners required to operate towing and supply boats in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The master is responsible for vessel handling in constantly changing conditions while towing, handling anchors and supplying in support of offshore oil and gas activities. The master is responsible for the SAFE operation of the vessel as well as the continuous training and evaluation of shipboard personnel. Valid U.S.C.G., driver's license and STCW 95 certification required. Ocean's endorsement, DP, GMDSS, helpful but not required.

3rd/100/200/500/1600 Ton Mate
U.S.C.G. Licensed Merchant Mariners required for towing and supply boats in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The Mate is responsible for the direct supervision of the vessel crew, SAFETY, deck activities and command of the vessel as directed by the Master. Valid U.S.C.G., driver's license and STCW 95 certification required. Ocean's endorsement, DP, GMDSS, helpful but not required.

3rd/DDE/Chief Engineer
U.S.C.G. Licensed Merchant Mariners required for towing and supply boats in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The Engineer plans, supervises and completes routine and emergency maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery at the dock and underway. The Engineer is responsible for the SAFE and efficient loading, transfer and discharge of bulk cargo, fuel and water. Valid U.S.C.G. and driver's license required. STCW 95 certification required.

Able Seaman/QMED/Deck & Engine Room
Merchant Mariners required for towing and supply boats in the U.S, Gulf of Mexico. Responsible for the performance of all vessel work in accordance with SAFE work practices, policies and procedures. Valid driver's license and STCW 95 Basic Safety Training required.
