Reg McNee has been associated with the marine industry since 1963, working both at sea as a Marine Engineer Officer and in shoreside management as Technical Superintendent, Operations Manager and Construction Superintendent with extensive experience in the Australian and Pacific region. He joined Tidewater Port Jackson Australia (Tidewater joint venture with Brambles Australia) in 1989 as General Manager, later moving to Singapore as Area Manager - Asia Pacific in 1998 following the takeover of Brambles interests in the joint venture by Tidewater in 1997. He assumed management responsibility for Australia in addition to Asia Pacific in 2001. In 2002 he was promoted to the office of Vice President with continuing responsibilities for Tidewater Australasia, Middle East, Egypt and Caspian Sea Operations. In 2004 he was further promoted to Senior Vice President and relocated to Aberdeen, Scotland, assuming the further responsibilities for Tidewater African regions and the North Sea.
